| MEET THE COACHES |
Paul Heinsohn - Director

The son of Boston Celtics Legend, Tommy Heinsohn, Paul has a lifetime
of experience with the game of basketball. A well know technical
coach, Paul currently coaches the Oliver Ames Freshman team and
is an assitant with the varsity. Prior to Oliver Ames he coached
the Freshman at Xaverian High School where his teams compiled
a 36-19 record and placed first in the Catholic Conference two
out of three years. Paul got his coaching start at Blessed Sacrament
School in Walpole where he was the director of the girl's program
and stransformed a perennial losing program into a league powerhouse.
A former stand-out athlete at Catholic Memorial High School where
he earned All Conference honors for basketball and both All Scholastic
and All American honors for football. Paul went on to become a
standout member of the Duke University football team until his
career was ended by injury.

Tom Cavanaugh
Tom is as experienced a basketball coach as you will find out there. He has coached at all levels in the game from CYO to High School with both girls and boys. Tom was the long time varsity coach and Athletic Director at the old Don Bosco Tech in Boston, as well as the Girls JV coach at Blue Hills Regional Technical and the assistant varsity coach at Xaverian High School. After a standout playing career at Xaverian and Worcester Academy, Tom went on to play at the University of New Hampshire, where he started for 2 ½ years and was their co-captain his senior year. Outside of basketball Tom is the assistant principal at Blue Hills and has a wealth of experience working with kids.
